Tassels and Patterns.

Dress: Charity Shop
Crochet Waistcoat: c/o Sunaj
Necklaces: Tentative Decisions and Vintage
Bag: Vintage
Boots: Jeffrey Campbell
Fedora: Miss Selfridge (sold out on website)

When Sunaj contacted me to say they loved my style, I was so excited to receive my suprise package from them, as I love the boho vibe they have to their brand, and they didn't disappoint!  I received this beautiful gold crochet tassle waistcoat (two of my favourite things)and a gorgeous gold crochet skirt I will be styling up in a later blog post. In their own words their brand is 'urban chic with a bohemian twist'. Which I might even start describing myself as, being a girl living in London but dreaming of LA.

The waistcoat adds an instant hippy vibe to any outfit, I love the shape of it, and it just happened to go perfectly with this gem of a patterned dress I found in a charity shop a couple of weeks ago.  It was a longer dress but of course I hacked it off, being quite an oversized shape I felt it looked much better shorter!

And of course adding my beautiful Tentative Decision jewels finished off the outfit perfectly. If you don't own any TD, then you should, they are definite investment pieces, and I wear at least one item from them on a daily basis. I have a lot of love for Kay, the designer as she always manages to come up with the most amazing and original designs, they just get so much better every time!

I love the gold and blue colours together in this outfit, and the tassles just make me want to twirl around, which I admit I have been doing, in my bedroom! What do you think?

Beatnik Boho.

 Dress: c/o Dahlia
Top: Charity shop then customised by me
Bag: c/o Warehouse
Sandals: New Look
Necklace: Vintage
Dreamcatcher: Present from holiday

How dreamy is the print on this pinafore? I absolutely love it. I've been looking for something in a psychedelic print like this for so long, it's even one of my saved searches on ebay. So you can imagine my delight when Dahlia very kindly sent me this beaut of a pinafore!

I think it goes perfectly with this little boho top that I've had for ages but have been looking for a chance to wear, as I felt it would be just a bit of a boring outfit just throwing throwing it over some denim shorts. I customised it by adding feathers,  and I love the whole boho vibe of this outfit. Which is my favourite kind of vibe of course. The fit and shape of the pinafore is amazing, and it even has pockets! (which I found out after shooting it, dammit.) I think this is one of my favourite outfits I've worn recently.

PS: Thank you all so much recently for all your amazing comments, they really make my day. I've literally had no time recently to sit down and do a blog catch up, but I am making time next week!

Latitude Festival Outfits

Dress and Maxi sheer cover up: Vintage
Sandals: New Look
Bag: Pendleton
Necklace: Waiste
Sunglasses: ASOS

Hat and dress: Miss Selfridge
Sandals: New Look
Sunglasses: ASOS
Bag: Pendleton

Latitude was AMAZING! Unfortunately I didn't manage to get any outfit pictures of my first one, as it ended up taking over 6 hours to drive to the Festival. By the time we got there we had nearly missed The Maccabees and they were the one band I was desperate to see, so we raced over there. And then partied. Weirdly the weather wasn't that great, I think it was because we were on the coast, and I didn't bring any layers or anything. Massive error. Such a fun coupley weekend though. highlights included: Maccabees (even though they didn't play Latchmere) Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Foals, Jessie Ware and Local Natives. Gutted I missed Beach House but they clashed with Foals!

I spent so long debating what to wear/pack, and I think I quite liked my outfits in the end. I always bring my trusty pendleton bag, which luckily seems to go with everything. I love layering open dresses over dresses at the moment, I'm not sure what to call it/them, any ideas? On the Sunday I got style spotted for and I had no idea what to call it!

I'm really pleased they loved my favourite festival outfit of the weekend though. The Miss Selfridge dress was a dream, the perfect fit and shape, and the perfect white lacey festival dress, and great for layering, I loved the fact it has little embellishments all over it too.

Now I'm back though this heat is seriously making messing with my fashion mojo. It's just too hot to wear anything I want to! I'm also still in recovery from Latitude so that isn't helping matters. I hate everything again!

On Saturday I'll be doing a car boot at Princess May School in Dalston if anyone wants to come buy my clothes and help fund my new wardrobe.

White Maxi Dress

 White Maxi dress: Charity Shop
Sandals: Oh My Love
Fan: Spain
Necklaces: Waiste
Fedora: Miss Selfridge similar HERE
Sunglasses: Ebay (old)

This weekend I came home for a much needed long weekend break, and couldn't resist a bit of charity shop shopping with my mum. I spied this beauty of a dress and even though I'm broke (and supposed to be saving for Latitude) for £3 I couldn't say no. It's so perfect, another white dress for the collection, and I love the buttons all the way down. It's actually got some embroidery on it but you can't tell in the picture.

I got a few more things too, one of which after taking these photos went perfectly over this dress, wish I had taken a few more now! And a couple which need altering so I will have to wait until I'm back in London to alter and show you those. It's been such a lovely weekend, I've got to spend some quality family time and see my best friends, and tried to get a tan. Still not really happening,I'm pretty sure I'm reflecting the sun.

As always, I'm getting a little emotional about leaving, but I've got a busy week next week with WAISTE and then Latitude, so I'm excited to get back into the studio tomorrow!

Hope you've all had a fun weekend in the sun!
