Paisley Dungarees

Paisley Dungarees: c/o Bank
Fedora: Catarzi via ASOS
Fur Gilet: Zara (old)
Bag: c/o Pauls Boutique
Necklaces: WAISTE
Crochet Top: Vintage
Boots: ASOS Sale

I've literally been living in these dungarees this week, I love them. They're probably the most comfiest but coolest piece of clothing I own, and the paisley print is perfect too. Going to be wearing these loads this AW I think. They're actually sold out on the website now, but Bank have some great AW pieces in at the moment so have a peek. As you might have noticed on my recent blog posts, fur gilets have become a bit of an obsession too! They're the perfect piece for layering, and are great if you don't wanna take a coat/none go with your outfit/you don't want to cover your outfit with a coat, but want to stay warm! They look great over anything too! H&M have some great ones in at the moment, I'm going to get one from there when I'm back from my holiday.

Speaking of holiday, I can't believe I'm going on one after three and a half years on Tuesday! I'm so excited, the weather is going to be 30 degrees pretty much the whole time. Just had a mad panic buying what's left of the bikini section in Topshop, and finally feel a little bit more prepared.

I'm definitely taking my new Paul's Boutique bag with me, it's the perfect size and shape and is the perfect boho bag to go with all my holiday outfits. The brand has come such a long way since I was 19 in my emo days walking around with a metallic light pink PB bag covered in padlocks, diamonds patches. (Although I did love that bag) Their bags and brand has really grown up in the last few years, with sleeker designs and less branding on their bags, whilst still keeping the brand identity. What do you think of PB?

I did actually have a bit of a fashion week fail if I'm honest. I missed the shows I should have gone to due to various reasons, I wanted to take lots of street style and I didn't take any pictures at all (plus it was raining most of the time I was there and I didn't see too many outfits I thought were amazing if I'm being really honest) But the best thing about LFW this year was seeing all my fave blogger babes and finaly meeting girls whose blogs I love! Loved hanging out with Helena, Frankie and Law again, saw the beaut Lauren briefly again, FINALLY met the megababes Leigh and Jen too and saw lots more.

To be honest it was pretty much raining the whole time which really put a dampener on things (literally) and my stress levels were through the roof with the whole WAISTE relaunch at the weekend or I would have wanted to go to loads of parties, and made more of an effort. Next time maybe.

I did quite like what I wore though. I loved putting together all the textures and layers of my white/cream outfit, layering the fur gilet over was the perfect way to make my summer kimono wearable in Autumn, and I'm so glad I finally got to wear my quilted patterned skirt. I bought it years ago, but never felt like I could find the right things to go with it, plus it is like a sleeping bag, but it sort of just happened on Thursday night (with a little help from Helena). Also my new favourite hair and way to hide my bleach damage, plaits!

All Change.

 Fur Gilet: Ebay
Necklaces: WAISTE
Boots and bag: ASOS

So many changes happening this week! A change in the weather means I'm nearly ready to start getting my AW wardrobe out and lots more layers (I love layering), and this Saturday (14.09.13) I am relaunching my brand, WAISTE. This has been a long time coming.

What started off as an idea to expand my brand has actually evolved and turned into a rebrand, and I couldn't be happier. I'll be completely honest, I felt like I had lost my way a bit with just customising denim, and my heart just wasn't in it anymore to solely concentrate on something I was struggling so much with, as it became more and more difficult and stressful to source smaller denim pieces, the demand was greater than the supply I could give unfortunately. Although I am not saying it's a complete no to denim in the future, not by any means, but due to the availability of it, it'll be more one-off designs and styles instead, which will be a lot more fun to do! And..... BIG NEWS....there is hopefully going to be a pop-up WASITE shop in London soon! (More about that later) But this Autumn it's all changing for WAISTE. I just wanted to say a massive massive THANK YOU to everyone that has supported me and my brand so far, I couldn't have done it without you, and this is just the beginning for WAISTE clothing!

Anyway, I don't want to give too much away just yet, BUT....lets just say, I have always said from the very start, I would never sell/design something I wouldn't wear myself, and so I know with this relaunch the pieces we've got for sale, I would absolutely love to have them all in my wardrobe, which ok this one did make it in! I couldn't help myself!Everything on site is all handpicked/handmade by myself, and I'm so excited to show you all. I'm running a competition to win a £50 WAISTE voucher!

Just make sure you're following WAISTE on any or all of it's social media platforms facebook/twitter/instagram and share the below image (which is a sneak peek from the new collection by the way) on any of those. Tag WAISTE with a @ or a #!
GOOD LUCK lovelies.

I'm a Gypsy Warrior.

Skirt: c/o Gypsy Warrior (Think it's sold out now)
Patterened shirt: Charity Shop
Bag: ASOS (old)
Boots: ASOS

I feel so grown up in this outfit, and I love it. Gypsy Warrior is one of my favourite online stores, so I admit, when their stylist Nicole contacted me, I did do a little scream of excitement. She knows who I am and likes my style, and she wants to see if I wanted to wear Gypsy Warrior on my blog? ER YES! I hope I've done it justice Nicole, and this is definitely one of my new favourite outfits too. I've got another outfit coming up in GW soon, and if you haven't already, go stalk them as much as I do HERE

I'm slowly warming more and more to Autumnal dressing, although I have FINALLY just booked a holiday with my boyfriend in two weeks for a week of fun in the sun in Greece. After 3 years of no holiday I'm so happy to be going on one, but it is throwing me style-wise, with now wanting to layer more, but then can't stop thinking of holiday outfits! And don't get me started on bikini shopping, there seems to be no choice whatsoever anywhere? I know it's very late in the game but I can hardly find anything, and the ones I do like are super expensive. Any suggestions please let me know!

I'm Back Bitches!

Velvet Fringe Kimono: Freak of Nature c/o Indigocult (buy HERE)
Top: Charity Shop
Boots: ASOS Sale
Belt: Vintage
Skirt: MinkPink (old, was trousers)
Necklaces: Tentative Decisions

Finally a blog post! Apologies for my recent unexplained absence, I've been horrendously ill since last Wednesday and have only just started to feel better. At first I thought someone had spiked my drink as I only had a couple before I started feeling ill, but on the third day of being sick I realised it could have probably been food poisoning instead. Today has been my first day of eating proper meals since Wednesday, and I just want to eat everything!

I'm so glad I'm feeling better again because I've been dying to wear this Freak of Nature kimono since the babes at brand new awesome fashion agency Indigocult sent it over last week. I love the Freak of Nature brand and own several pieces from them already, and I feel like this particular one was made for me! Crushed velvet plus fringing plus kimono equals heaven. As much as I'm trying to resist it, AW it is slowly creeping upon me, and I admit,I am getting a little bit excited to layer again, so I felt like this is the perfect transitional type of outfit for me!
