Little White Lies Customisation Challenge

Dress: c/o Little White Lies (available at Urban Outfitters)
Fedora: Catzari via ASOS
Beaded bag: Vintage
Crochet Top: Charity Shop

A couple of weeks ago I was sent this cute shift dress from the babes at BPR, by the super cool London brand Little White Lies (which is available to buy at UO) , and asked if I wanted to take part in their customisation challenge. You know I love to customise everything, so of course I jumped at the chance, and this is what I came up with. I already had the crochet squares at home (If you've ever been to my flat you will see it is FULL of crochet) and I wanted to design something that was really 'me', and kept to my style. I think this sums me up, don't you think?

I love how the thickness of the crochet makes the collar stand out more, and I really like the colours against the black of the dress. This was a really simple yet effective way to add a bit of colour and texture to a collar, I just stitched the squares on by hand. I feel like I want to do this to all my collars now! Fingers crossed I win!

Do you like my design? How would you have customised the collar on the dress?
