Behind the Scenes: On Location for BANK SS14 Lookbook.

 Amazing mens printed t-shirts.
Taxidermy Everywhere.

My friend Ollie was the SS14 male model for the lookbook
The lovely Lucia  and me. Me, Lucia and Jade from Bank.

A couple of weeks ago I was invited by the lovely Jade from Bank to go behind the scenes on one of their SS14 lookbook shoots at a top-secret location in East London. Bank if you hadnt heard of it is a high street and online store selling a wide range of brands. I'd been speaking to Jade loads on email so it was really lovely to finally meet and have a proper chat with her, felt like I'd know her for ages! It was great to meet the beaut blogger Lucia too, and we all had a giggle over a few lattes and lunch before heading across the road to the shoot.

The location was literally my dream house, full of persian rugs, 1960s wallpaper and taxidermy everywhere, and it was just fascinating to walk around, as you had no idea what was going to be in the next room! Me being me, I was running really late and forget my camera, hence the 1960s wallpaper background for my images above, I had to resort to iphone pictures so not the best quality! (Thanks Jade for emailing over yours too!)

Unfortunately I couldn't make the girls shoot the day before (which looked awesome on insta though) we did get a sneak peek at the mens, which was modelled by my lovely friend Ollie, who I worked with loads in the mens studios when I worked for ASOS. I loved all the printed t-shirts especially, they reminded me of the persian rugs covering pretty much the whole house, and I loved all the clashing prints in the outfits we saw whilst on set.

Bank have really come along way as a brand since I used to shop there when I was 14, and are still going strong. I'm really excited to see the results of both shoots! Thanks to Jade and Lizzie for having me.

  1. I used to work for Bank a few years ago before I joined Urban Outfitters and I literally detested all of the clothes whilst I was there. It all seemed to be low end sportswear or tacky dimantes on short hemline clubwear dresses. However, I hold my hands up, they've definitely improved for the better! I love all the paisley prints they've got in at the moment and their brands are definitely improving. Also, the setting for that lookbook looks like an utter dream. I wouldn't mind living there either!
