Witching Hour

Dress: Allegra
Boots: Senso
Necklace: Born Native
Hat: ASOS (old)

Photography: Eliza Moore

I've fallen in love with this dreamy black lace maxi from Allegra, with it's plunging neckline, the perfect statement maxi dress. I feel like a witchy princess dressed up in it, it fits so perfectly in all the right places.

Even when back in London I'm still trying to find locations that have an american feel, which is hard when I'm surrounding by bricks and concrete, but this vintage Ford Cortina I found parked around the corner from me did the trick nicely.

So Mulholland drive is pretty long if you don't know where you're going and just direct the uber driver to 'Mulholland Drive near the palm trees please'. And instead of that magically working, we ended up getting dropped of on top of a mountain with no phone signal and no idea where we were. Of course to make the best of a bad situation it was a great opportunity to do a little blog shoot before we had a panic and tried to hike all the way back down the mountain (in this fairytale vintage dress) to civilisation.

Staring at Stars

Staring at Stars Dress: Urban Outfitters*
Bag: Vintage
Boots: Ash

It was just another sweet-as-sugar sunny day in LA when these photos were taken. Although I'm really missing the LA sun (and all the cactus and palm trees) I'm so glad I've come back to sunshine in London, as the last time I came back it was the middle of winter here and the coldest it had been all year, which was such a crash after all those blissful sunny days. And I've already booked flights back so it won't be long until I'm back in the sunshine!

This Staring at Stars cotton dress from Urban Outfitters was perfect for throwing on on the days when you have no idea what to wear as it's such a lovely shape and looks almost vintage with cross stitch detailing. And there was a lot of those days as I was living out of a suitcase for two months!

Dazey LA

T-shirts and head piece: Dazey LA
Flares: Free People
Shorts: Vintage

On my second to last day in LA, amidst all the packing and panicking about leaving, I had the chance to fit in a quick photoshoot in the hot LA heat in collaboration with my new fave t-shirt brand Dazey LA. Run by the babe Dani (who took these photos) she designs and hand draws all of the t-shirts, and her sister Dominique designs and hand makes all the jewellery. I've putting myself out there a lot more recently and meeting up with like-minded creative individuals and I'm so glad I have.
