Ok I’ll be honest, I have a hard enough time as it is thinking of witty blog post titles and there’s two things wrong with this particular lame title for a start. Number one, I don’t even live in a house but a small flat in London and number two, even though I’ve lived in London for nearly 8 years I think now, I have never once referred to it as home. Home to me will always be up North at my parents house. I think as soon as I start to refer to London as ‘home’ I know I’ve really grown up, and I don’t want to feel like that anytime soon.

I always have a lot of fun decorating and redecorating my new flat though, after having flat mates for years and never been able to have a lot of space to play with I like going a little crazy with it. My current favourite feature pieces above the fireplace are my Monti by Monti glass triangle and hexagon and my Scaramanga repurposed storage drawer, perfect for storing my little trinkets in, shown here with a few little Etsy finds for my collaboration with them (but more on that exciting project later.) My fireplace might feel a little much for some but I quite like the fact that even though strictly speaking everything shouldn’t work together….but they do.
