Happy New Year!

So, I’m determined to make this one the best yet, as last year was sort of a mixed bag for me. But don’t get me wrong, there was a lot of amazing opportunities personal-wise, landing the ASOS insider job was a big one, as was meeting some amazing creative people and new friends for life, including this babe above, Eliza, who I met at a Beyond Retro blogger event early on in the year. (I had previously been stalking her on instagram haha) and we really clicked, which, I don’t know about you, but me being the way I am, find extremely rare when meeting people.

We are always on the same wavelength, and our western/bohemian/folk styles/born in the wrong era vibes compliment each other perfectly. So, after long chats over cups of herbal tea, coffees (and cocktails) we decided that as well as shooting ourselves and being inspired by each other in our individual styles, why not collaborate and shoot and style ourselves together too?

We both are forever wishing we lived in America (as our styles are definitely more suited to desert climates than rainy old England haha) And all the girls we love and that inspire us all live there too. But at the moment, we are here in London, and we are lucky to be able to live here, so why not stop wishing and start a creative collective of our own, starting with this blog series. With our first theme being monochrome, we plan on getting really creative and taking these further this year too, along with lots of other new projects, so watch this space, and we hope you enjoy this first shoot.

YOU UTTER BABES! I love this idea, especially as you're two of my online style muses. ♥
