Hat: Borrowed from Eliza
White Cowboy Boots: Crossroads trading Post
I mean, where do I even start? LA you’ve completely stolen my heart. It was completely unexpected how much I’d fall in love with the place, hard and fast. It felt like I completely belonged there, I know I’ve never felt happier in a place. I’ve been back for a week and I’m still in such a daze, I can’t believe the month is over already. I’ve got some serious LA blues at the moment and I know they won’t fade until I book a flight straight back there.
I’ve honestly never had such a crazy, insane adventure, and I’ll try and share some moments with you through here. Ok so at this point in the adventure we’d missed the train at Union Station the day before (very long story) and got abandoned with all our luggage with us and no where to stay, so we had to get a Motel for a night. When in LA. We ended up getting a train and a bus the next day which took HOURS to Palm Springs, then an uber to Yucca Valley/Joshua Tree to our Air bnb where we realised we were literally in the middle of nowhere and a little lost as we didn’t drive, and there was a four hour walk to the nearest shop. Yeah, we didn’t think that one through. Tip: maps are very deceiving, everything looks closer than it is.
So what else to do other than take blog photos in the desert? I was saving this Lovestitch dress to do especially that. Finally being able to shoot against my dream background. Don’t worry though we made friends with the Air BnB host who took us through Joshua Tree and then to the pub.
