Bag: Mooch Vintage
Jeans: Pylo*
Shirt: Vintage

Aw man, I’ve been listening to too much Lana Del Rey, hence the blog title. I’ve also become obsessed with this bag, my amazing boyfriend found it for me in Mooch Vintage when we went to Sheffield last month and we’ve been inseparable ever since, haha.  I really want a rug version of this bag when we have our own flat, how amazing would that be.

You can’t go wrong with a pair of bells and these Pylo ones fit like a dream. I always get asked what size to get, so if you’re looking to order Pylo trousers I’d definitely say size down as they run a little big and they are super comfortable and stretchy so the smaller size fits perfectly. Oh and they’re lovely and long too, perfect for wearing with platforms.

This is a little sneak peek of some of the amazing vintage pieces I’ve found when buying in LA this week. Vintage here is seriously next level, and I’m so excited to start planning a fun vintage shoot for my website when I’m out here. And next Sunday I’m finally headed to Rosebowl, which I can’t wait for. Just need to figure out how to get it all back now…

Kimono: Vintage
Bolo Tie: The 2 bandits*
Custom Turquoise pendant: Silver Valley Jewellery*
Cuff: Rabbit and the Raven*

Trying to beat this intense LA heat, we headed to Highland Park today to wander around the vintage and record shops, and found this dreamy 70s kimono which just so happened to match this dusky pink wall we stumbled across quite nicely. I’ve been wearing a lot of white/cream recently to try and reflect the sun, and this Tolani tunic does the job quite nicely, as well as going perfectly with my new cuff and turquoise necklace.

So I completely forgot to post this. These are from LA round one, and I think when I got back it was so cold I didn’t feel like looking at them when I was sitting freezing my ass off in my cold old flat.

Sometimes I have to really be in the right mood to post things on here, I’m not organised to save my life either. The thought of scheduling something fills me with dread. It just has to be spontaneous, I just like to live in the moment. Kind explains why I only sporadically update my blog haha.

So currently the sun is shining, it’s Saturday and I’m in a really good place right now and I wanted to look back and remember this dreamy day wandering around Melrose Avenue for the first time.

Another blog post I shot in LA and forgot to post, whoops. I’m literally the most forgetful person ever, I forget I even have a blog half the time. How dreamy is the psychedelic 70s style playsuit though? I’m a massive fan of Nine Lives Bazaar and their incredible new collection is all the right vibes for me.
