Now that Autumn is practically here, these are all the things I’m lusting after this week. Anything pastel, fluffy, bright and surprisingly…gold. Enjoy and happy shopping!

Hello, it’s me. The blog is back and it’s officially a new season and it’s also official, i’m in love with these boots. What’s not to love? Pink, check! chunky, check! knee high (so I don’t have to wear tights for as long as possible), check! These boots were definitely made for walking (or stomping) and I can also say that after wearing them for two full days of constantly walking around Brighton- they’re dead comfy too, check! PLUS if pink isn’t your thing, they come in two other colours as well which I’ll link at the end of this post.

So, after lockdown haven’t weeks and months have been flying by?! I was constantly waiting for summer in the uk (never happened) but as soon as I put away my *barely worn* summer wardrobe away, we get a week of glorious sunshine. Go figure. It *may* have been ever so slightly too hot for this cardigan, but this outfit was one imagined in my head, and it actually worked out so well IRL, which to be honest, never happens!

I posted this outfit on my instagram yesterday and just had to share it on here too, as I felt so good in it! With lockdown I’ve really struggled with gaining a bit of weight, which meant that in a lot of my clothes, I just didn’t feel comfortable in anymore – which made me just not want to post to be honest. I lost my mojo and was constantly criticising every photo of myself, nothing looked right, and when I’m unhappy I have a tendency to hide myself away from the world. It also doesn’t help I’ve been so bloated for a long time too and I don’t know why. The cause of that is still unknown. I still need to go to a doctor but classic me I’ve been putting it off for a long time. But yesterday I put this on (with my spanx haha) and I thought you know what, I love this outfit , I feel great, I feel good !

I promptly took myself and my outfit out for a lovely walk with Stanny and of course had to document. There’s so much pressure all the time being an influencer, content creator, whatever you call it, to constantly be wearing the new, the latest, etc etc and I get so many emails everyday from brands constantly wanting me to promote their labels (and with so many brands out there) it does become overwhelming, it’s trying to keep up but also being true to yourself.

I bought this Cinta the Label cardigan from the brilliant UK based Maggie’s Room a few months ago – they are home to the coolest independent sustainable brands all in own place if you want to check them out. It is so versatile – it goes with everything (and now I’m lusting after it in lilac too…) It’s been around for a while now, but I love how the brand hasn’t just got rid of the design and moved onto something else. They have so many cute dresses now too so make sure you check Cinta out if you’ve not heard of them before.

The skirt is from Zara – I bought it in summer to wear with crop tops, but again it’s so versatile and you can deffo bring it into AW with chunky boots, knits or cardigans – make your wardrobe work for longer! the glasses are from ASOS – I love how the yellow ties in with the yellow on the skirt, and then of course the pink Prada bag matches the boots. All in all an outfit I feel great in and am so happy with how it all came together !

Hello and welcome to another Wednesday wishlist on a Thursday, ahem. This week I’ve been drawn to lots of lilac pieces, gingham pieces and checkerboard pieces-we love a theme here. That Ganni dress in the lilac seersucker is so good I had to include both the short and long dresses in it. I feel like I need them both. I already have the lilac gingham Warehouse dress and I adore it so I had to include it! You can’t really see it in the photo below but have a look at the photo above- the straps tie in a bow and they look so cute. The perfect picnic dress. Also I feel like everyone should own those pink Gucci slides-I absolutely love mine and they are surprisingly so comfortable. Whilst I was looking on the Gucci site I came across those lilac ones below too and let’s just say I’ve fallen head over heels in love.

Hello and welcome to another Wednesday wishlist. Sorry it’s been so long, it’s been so hectic over these past few weeks with lockdown restrictions easing and I’ve had to juggle a lot of content creation with vintage work and the shop reopening. But anyway! So glad to be busy! Below are the things I’m lusting after this week-I’m really gravitating towards baby blue at the moment I’ve noticed, which is definitely obvious by this list (obviously pink is my first love ALWAYS) but baby blue is creeping in ! plus pink and baby blue together is literally a match made in heaven.

Dress c/o: Fresha London

I’ve realised that out of all the lockdowns we have had (currently on number three and counting) that a winter lockdown is by far the worst. I’ll go as far as to say I quite liked the first one-weather wise at least. Since being in lockdown I feel like I’ve become so much more AWARE of the seasons/the weather/winter dragging on forever (probably because I’m not as busy or going anywhere) And the light is soooo bad in the flat whenever it’s cloudy (most days) so it’s becoming really frustrating when trying to shoot content. I feel like I’m wishing my life away – but I almost want to wish this lockdown away now I’m so fed up. Saying that it is Friday, nearly another week of it done and we are one week closer to getting back to some kind of life outside the four walls of the flat. Saying that I just seem to be feeling extra tired and groggy at the moment, all motivation is out of the window and I feel like I’m just not getting anything done. I hate feeling like this. I think the title of the blog post sums it up-Spring just isn’t here yet so don’t be fooled. Now I feel like I’ve taken the mood down a bit here, let’s talk about the dress shall we? Moving on…

Luckily the weather had a little glimpse of Spring in it the day we shot these, and that little glimmer gave me a little hope, and a reminder, that things won’t be like this forever. This beautiful dress is by a new brand called Fresha London and I can’t wait to show it off properly in the next few months. I’m so in love with the print, it feels quite retro but also modern at the same time?  And that back detail is devine. Oh and it fits like a dream too, so if you were thinking of getting it, take your usual size. Be sure to check them out because they’ve got some gorgeous dresses in other prints on the website too.

As you can see from the photos, I ended up getting both the Prada sandals and headband (whoops) and I’m obsessed with both of them. I have no regrets ! Honestly I’ve now gone off all my other shoes and these sandals have not left my feet since I got them-I’ve been wearing them with socks in case you were wondering if my feet were cold, haha. But this was an unusually warm and sunny day I ventured out with no socks on. I also tried that today and regretted it immediately.

Also I actually bought the Prada headband on sale – top tip: every time I’ve checked on Flannels it mysteriously goes on sale every weekend so if you’re looking to getting one too – click that link on a weekend ! It’s so odd I don’t know why, but let’s not ask any questions about it, shall we !
