Over the past week I’ve discovered some incredible Black owned businesses that I wanted to share in a blog post in more detail, to amplify and support these incredible businesses, and I wanted to expand on these in more detail, plus giving you all the links so you can shop. If you’ve followed me for a while you know I own a vintage shop, so it gives me so much joy when I find other incredible vintage stores to share with you, plus sustainable brands too of course! Which is why I think you’ll love the below brands as much as I do. I’ve already made a few purchases and I can’t wait to buy more.
Maison Archives instagram
This is literally my new favourite shop-I want everything on there! It’s hair clip heaven, I immediately ordered all the shell clips, but there’s so many to choose from, plus some seriously cute headbands, scrunches, hair bows bags, and jewellery too. So in love with all my new shell clips (you know how much I love shells), I got this, this and this, can’t wait to shoot them soon. Shop everything here
Brother Veilles instagram
Ok… not officially a new discovery, but I’ve been following Brother Veillies for years, I am obsessed. I’ve wanted their yin yang boots for as long as I can remember, every single pair of shoes that make I fall in love with. Oh plus all their bags too. Everything is sustainable and handmade across the world. One day I’d love to visit their New York store, but in the meantime I’m saving for these mules.
What an absolute treasure trove. Circantiques is an Etsy shop full of treasure run by Megan, who has such a good eye. There’s such beautiful antiques in her shop along with some hand picked vintage clothing too. I mean just LOOK at that 1930s velvet dress, it’s incredible. Plus on her instagram her home looks like an absolute dream too.
Page of Air instagram
Page of Air is an absolutely beautifully curated Etsy shop based in the USA with vintage ranging from the 20s-90s, everything is shot in such a dreamy aesthetic style, I basically want everything. This is the kind of vintage I wish I could find when buying in the UK. At the moment I’ve got my eye on this incredible 1940s peach gown.

I have fallen in love with their puff sleeve tops. Everything is sold out at the moment but I’m hoping they make more soon as I am desperate to own one!
Lait De Coco instagram
Aside from having one of the most dreamy instagram feeds I’ve seen, Lait De Coco sell both vintage and handmade items, they do weekly vintage drops on their instagram stories, I would recommend putting your story notifications ON to grab their incredible vintage pieces as they sell out fast.
Elena Corolina instagram
Elena Corolina is pearl heaven. A hand made jewellery brand based in the Netherlands using fresh water pearls to create absolutely beautiful jewellery. I’ve just ordered these hoops, and I’m saving for this initial necklace, because I absolutely need that in my life.
Again not a new discovery but one I’ve been lusting after for a while. Manchester based sustainable brand Roop hand makes furoshiki bags using remnant vintage fabrics and everything down to the packaging is green friendly. I’ve FINALLY got my hands on their pink gingham bag to match my sleeper dress! Everything is currently sold out but there will be more soon, the white satin one is next on my list ! There’s also an amazing raffle on at the moment organised by Roop to raise money for Black Lives Matter which you can checkout here.
Neutral Ground Instagram
Neutral Ground is US based vintage brand with an absolutely beautifully curated vintage shop selling timeless, neutral and classic pieces. They source vintage from all different decades and have an amazing designer collection too. The founder Alysha used to work for the iconic House of Halston (what an incredible job!)
Lucid Voyage instagram
Lucid Voyage is Texas based vintage brand with a mix of hand curated vintage and contemporary pieces and is an absolute online treasure trove. I immediately bought that pink floral scalloped swimsuit! Their online shop is full of pretty pastel pieces at the moment and next on my list is this incredible pink 70s nightie and duster
Selenas shop instagram
Sheffield based hand picked vintage depop shop Selenas has everything from the 70s to the 90s and is basically maxi dress heaven. I only wish I discovered this sooner as everything I want is sold out-you’ve got to be quick with vintage !
House of Aama instagram
LA based brand mother and daughter duo House of Aama is just absolutely stunning. From the products (all handmade in LA) to the styling, to the photography. The items are handmade to order and I’m definitely saving up to invest in this dress, I can’t get over how beautiful it is.
Our Lovely Goods Instagram
Scottish based handmade brand Our Lovely Goods sells handcrafted wax candles and botanical skincare, all good for the environment as well as your home. And they work with Nigerian artisans for their beautiful collection of homewares. All their skincare is also cruelty free and vegan. All the candles sound like they smell heavenly, I can’t wait for a restock.
Small needs instagram
Smalls needs is a vintage shop on Etsy selling beautifully curated vintage pieces, everything again sells out so fast so make sure your post notifications are on as you don’t want to miss out on these incredible pieces. Again this is the vintage I absolutely wish I could find when buying ! Everything is just incredible.
I hope you like this selection, I wanted to highlight some in more detail over on this blog. If you love the brand but aren’t financially able to at this time I’ve left the instagram of each brand underneath so you can discover more on there and to support and follow them. I’d love to continue to do these posts and I’m already on the hunt and have lots more for my next post (as this round up only touches on some of the incredible Black owned brands out there) so if you have any suggestions too let me know!
